Civil/Site Design Engineer

Description

The Civil/Site Design Engineer will be capable of designing all aspects of a site development project, such as a commercial/retail/industrial site. This includes, but is not limited to, stormwater, sanitary, grading, site layout, accessibility, permitting, utility coordination, planning and zoning, and all other aspects of a site development project.

Transportation Team Leader

Description

The Transportation Team Leader will be responsible for the effective management of a team of engineering staff members for the delivery of all transportation projects on time and on budget.

Transportation Project Manager

Description

A Project Manager, or PM, is responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Their duties include dividing up their budget for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary, hiring professional firms or selecting project team members from existing departments and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines.

Description

As a professional engineer, assists in managing roadway design production for contracts with our DOT partners throughout the region.

Construction Inspector

Description

Position is responsible for providing general inspection duties (material sampling and testing, quantity tracking, quality assurance/quality control, documentation, etc.) on Transportation/ Utility, Storm Sewer, Drainage, Water, Sanitary Sewer and other public construction projects as the site representative.

Engineering Technician

Description

JTL has a career opportunity available for an individual who is interested in furthering themselves through on the job training, hard work and dedication. We are currently seeking to hire a technology driven, construction minded individual as a Civil Engineering Technician. Civil Engineering Technicians with JTL will have the opportunity to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson Software, high-tech land surveying equipment, drone technologies, as well as learn to use construction testing equipment. Previous experience with,
or basic understanding of, water and wastewater treatment and collection systems is preferred. JTL is seeking an employee to be trained in all of these fields to provide both flexibility and diversity for the employee and company.

Water Resources Design Engineer

Description

With a technical background and experience in water resource engineering, the Water Resources Design Engineer will
be responsible for supporting water, wastewater, and stormwater design projects as part of a design team, ensuring quality and timely completion of projects. Tasks may include utility infrastructure main design, pumping station design, regulatory and municipal permitting, treatment plant design, watershed analysis and drainage design, and all other projects and tasks assigned by the Water Resources Team Leader.
