Oak Meadow #1

Oak Meadow #1 is a submersible, duplex type pumping station that was deemed to be a critical component of the EWSU system during CMOM reporting activities. In 2015, JTL designed the rehabilitation of the existing station, which was in critical condition. The lift station is located directly behind multiple residential homes and is also adjacent to a golf course. Due to this fact, coordination with the homeowners and golf facility was in integral component of the success of this project.
Two new 25 HP submersible pumps were installed within a new seven-foot diameter wet well. A new control panel was installed, with the existing electrical materials being replaced. The new lift station includes a 6-inch discharge force main, which ties into the existing force main structure approximately 20 feet from the new wet well and valve vault.
