Clark Floyd Landfill

Jacobi, Toombs & Lanz, Inc. has been Clark County Indiana’s Landfill Engineer for over 40 years. In this role JTL has been responsible for all the site selection, permitting, design and construction administration for the County’s municipal solid waste disposal facility. Extensive growth has occurred at the landfill, which includes coordination with Local, County and State officials and permitting agencies.

JTL recently led an effort to permit a vertical expansion (Major Modification Application) of the facility and is assisting the owner with oversight of a subsurface barrier wall that will allow the vertical expansion. This project also includes an expansion of the leachate collection system, including a leachate pump station and force main to a nearby POTW, wetland mitigation efforts, and multiple rounds of bond funding.
